Sonnets are exact, elegant, entertaining. Not-quite-perfect poems will qualify for the "Un-sonnet" category. For specific information contact Professor Les Ellenor, Okanagan University College, Salmon Arm, BC, Canada (604) 832 2126. Suggested topics: Family Ties Separation Refugees Sea-life Flag. Prizes: $500 for 1st, $300 for 2nd, and a book by a Canadian author for each of ten 3rd place winners. The best un-sonnet will receive $100; the best juvenile sonnet, $50.
