I have been following this forum for about a month now. It has provided a great deal of information that I have passed on to my father, a PD patient in Shreveport, Louisiana. We have both read with a great deal of interest about the available surgeries (ie pallidotomies). There has been no discussion to date about the associated cost of these procedures nor if they are covered in part or entirely by health insurance.
