All: Have you noticed something interesting - namely that RLS was never
mentioned at Parkinson's seminars, regional meetings, in medical journals,
PD newsletters, or support groups until recently? And note that Controlled
Release Sinemet came on the market 3-4 years ago?

Since my first message re restless leg syndrome, I have received E-mail
from several people with PD who have restless legs. Some said they felt
Sinemet CR was a problem. One said her neurologist took her off CR and put
on regular Sinemet and her muscle spasms improved.

RLS can cause insomnia. Many people spend their evenings and nights pacing
the floor or exercising to relieve the need to move their legs. Relief is
short lived and the twitching, crawling, pulling, shocking, drawing and
tingling sensations often re-occur when they sit or lie down to rest. These
sensations sometimes plague the sufferer when traveling which can turn a nice
trip into a nightmare.

Does anyone have a problem with Sinemet CR in this regard?
