Greetings!  Your case is much like ours.  With a change in neurologist and
style, my husband's "restless leg syndrome" is improved with a lowered dose
of sinemet CR, now down to 1.5 daily, with a corresponding increase in
Permax (Parlodel, bromocryptine, etc.).  This change has been very healthy
for him, in that he spends less of each day dealing with dynkinesia, etc.  I
realize these are not your problems, but the notion of reducing sinemet in
favor of bromocryptine may interest you.  Good luck.
