A previous posting had part missing. I wanted info on people's experience in getting a disability classification from Social Security for Parkinson's. A friend who has Parkinson's wants to start the process. She was diagnosed 11 years ago, is 59 now. She functions fairly well when her meds are working, that is, she can type, even drive. But the space of time gets shorter. She needs a good deal of help otherwise. Is there value in getting this disabled classification. She has few Soc. Sec. quarters.
