Thanks for your welcome posting. As for an introduction: I am 82 year old, with Parkinsons for about 5 years, maybe longer. For 11 years I was an Assistant to the President, University of Missouri system (Employee Relations), from which position I retired in 1978. Then, until 1990, I continued working as an ad hoc labor arbitrator. My immediate interest is in leaning the sites of neurosurgeons who have extensive and successful records in performing pallidotomies. My neurologist has said that he does not recommend the procedure for a man of my age. But being on the downhill side of the actuarial tables, I have much less to lose if I take the risks.
