What's Best for Parkinson's Disease
 
On March 29, 1995, the Samuel Goodman Symposium is sponsoring,in
conjunction with Du Pont Pharma, a seminar on What's Best for
Parkinson's Disease at the St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, OK.
 
Goals & Objectives
 
The physician's ultimate goal is the best possible care for his/her
patient. Over the last several years, there has been great progress
made in the areas of medical management of Parkinson's Disease,
pallidotomy and neurosurgery.  The participant of this program
will learn the following:
 
   *  The Best Medical Regimen for Parkinson's Disease
   *  The New Therapeutic Procedures for Parkinson's Disease
 
Accreditation
 
As an organization accredited for continuing medical education,
St. John Medical Center certifies that this continuing medical
education offering meets the criteria for 4 hours in Category
1 of the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical
Association.

There is no charge for the symposium; however, advance registration

Samuel Goodman, MD, FACP 1889-1963
 
Samuel Goodman, MD was a practicing internist at St. John Medical
Center.  He was a graduate of the University of Kansas Medical
School and trained at Research Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri
and the Rockefeller Institute in New York City. He served as both
Chief of Medicine and Chief of Staff at St. John. Following his
death, the Goodman Symposium was established in his honor. The
first symposium was held in 1964.
