Samuel Goodman, MD, FACP 1889-1963 Samuel Goodman, MD was a practicing internist at St. John Medical Center. He was a graduate of the University of Kansas Medical School and trained at Research Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri and the Rockefeller Institute in New York City. He served as both Chief of Medicine and Chief of Staff at St. John. Following his death, the Goodman Symposium was established in his honor. The first symposium was held in 1964.
