For those interested in exploring alternative medicine and PD, here is a
listing of address for different alternative health related organizations that
can be used to help find information and/or doctors, etc. in natural medicine.
I sent out a listing of WWW sites earlier relating to alternative medicine, and
that is where I found this listing. There is a program, called IBIS, to which
one of those WWW sites mentioned is dedicated. This program allow you to
research alternative therapies for specific conditions and is primarily set up
for alternative health practicioners, but can be accessed by anyone. The WWW
site seems to mainly have just info about IBIS, and a sample version you can
download, but to run the entire program, it looks like it has to be purchased.
I know there are some companies which provide computer searches too for a fee.
I'll try to get their addresses/phones posted, and maybe compare their cost of
doing a search, versus purchasing this IBIS program, and doing the search
oneself. Here goes the info promised:
