Hi: Does anyone have any information on the long term effects of a "drug holiday" on a Parkinson patient? In other words, if a PD patient has sinamet withdrawn to isolate side effects, etc., and all the PD symtoms are intensified because of the lack of medication, what happens after the sinamet is re-introduced? Do the PD symtoms, such as stooped posture, rigidity, shaking, freezing, etc. disappear again, or is there a certain amount of "lost ground", so to speak, that cannot be regained, with the symptoms more acute and prevalent then they were before? Any info would be much appreciated... Thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve A.
