It seems as though our local paper, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, has gotten a hold of the NYT article of 3/16 and reprinted it. I'm sure a number of other local papers will also run it. It's scary to think how many people will be so afraid of the pallidotomy after reading the article that they don't pursue it. Perhaps Dr. Kelly should send his comments to a few choice papers if only to lessen some of the damage that may have been done.
