I have been following the list for a couple of months now. Early on, I
tried to introduce myself, but couldn't get the message thru for some
reason. Hopefully, this will work better.
I am a library researcher in a company that is exploring drug treatments
for PD. I am also a grad student studying psychology, and the recent
addition of someone with and interest in connection between depression
and PD is exciting to me. I am also interested in psych. ramifications
of this, and other debilitating diseases (eg. Alzheimer's).
This forum is great, and I've learned a lot! So many concerned and
loving people!
Anyway, my current question relates to a couple of references I saw
awhile back regarding having trouble swallowing. I am trying to find
out how prevalent difficulty with swallowing--especially swallowing
meds--is among people with PD. A resource that can give a percentage
would be ideal, but any info would be a help to me. If you have any
ideas where I might look to find this info out, for example...
Thanks,
Cara Pellegrini
