do not split up your sinemet doses-it is too complicated. Continue yo take it with meals and ask your neurologist for carbidopa (lodosyn) which he can get from Dupont. Take a little longer to be certain of the effects of the drug. I can't help with the chemical taste although I'm sure it's not a hallucination.
