To: Mr. Wim Dewijngaert, Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven , Connecticut has been conducting an experimental program of fetal brain tissue implants into the brains of patients suffering from Parkinson's Disease. This program has been privately funded and predates the lifting of the ban of public funding for such research by the Clinton Administration. I do not know if younger PD patients are a particular focus of this program. I seem to recall reading that they are not. Dr. Kenneth Marek, of the Neurology Dept, is Director of the Movement Disorders Center at the Yale School of Medicine. The address is: 333 Cedar Street New Haven, CT 06510 FAX # 203 785-5694
