Hi Tony,

I'm a bit behind with reading my mail (only 200 more PARKINSN articles left
before I'm up to date!) but with my Mother we tried:
    - chewing gum
    - "Kwells" (travel sickness pills)
    - a combination of the two - a Kwell rolled up in some chewing gum

Can't remember the reasoning this but it worked.

One Doctor proposed irradiating her glands to stop them producing saliva,
but we never got around to it.

Regards,

Simon

Subject: Introduction

Hi,

My name is Tony Southern, I live in Wellington, New Zealand.
I have joined this list to try and get some help for a friend of a friend who
has PD. At this time I dont know that much about PD, but I hope I may be
able to pass on some helpful advice.

One problem this person has is exessive drooling, and I was pleased to see
a mention of this problem by John Cottingham yesterday. If anyone else has
anything helpful on this subject, I would be pleased to hear about it.

Tony Southern
