On April 6, Alan Bonander posted a useful list of centers performing pallidotomies, adding it was incomplete. We have just seen in the April newsletter of the Central Ohio Parkinson Society an announcement that pallidotomies and thalamotomies will be done soon at Ohio State Univ. by Dr. Joseph Goodman, in cooperation with Dr. George Paulson.They have carefully outlined the types of patients they will accept or exclude for these surgeries, which are not research, and for which there will be a charge.
