My name is Lee Silva. I am an undergraduate at Southwestern University currently enrolled in a Neurobiology course. This semester I have been required to research a topic in the field, and I have chosen to research non-pharmaceutical (ie surgical) methods of treatment of Parkinson's Disease. The two methods I am particularly interested in learning more about are: fetal tissue transplants and the pallidotomy (sp?).
