I am currently taking part in an independent study course with two secondary teachers/graduate students on the negotiated curriculum. We meet weekly, usually at my placein the evening, and we have begun with Garth Boomer's work which seems to be the central reading in the area. But we are moving quickly and would like to hear from the experiences of others, and of other sources or readings or other information. Personal experience is of great interest to us, and it doesn't have to be at the secondary level. Postsecondary experiences interest us too. One of us wants to attempt a negotiated curriculum with a grade 12 elective drama course in September. Any and all contributions are welcome.
