Dear Wendy: Interesting theory you are developing. A previous writer, the engineer, had some related ideas, but moved more in the direction of considering chemical exposure. Both are possible in subtle ways, I guess. In our case, my husband is definitely a type A personality, and suffered a heart attack too, incidentally. The experience teaches a family how to cope better, so a heart-attack survivor is less likely to have a second attack, and will find ways to avoid the tension and still get results. However, a lifetime of treating all aspects of daily life very seriously, examining and rexamining possibilities, etc., especially when one is raising a family and has an intellectual bent (it increases the possibilities for anxiety), could produce enzymes that could trigger destructive properties in some tissues. It's an interesting theory to pursue. k. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mrs. Karin M.
