I, too, have suffered from loss of the Parkinson list, and it was trully
frustrating. But with the help of various list members and the technical
help of servers, I learned that when a server's system is shutdown for
maintenance or involuntarily, a rejection notice is sent Bitnet, which in
turn drops the member's name from their list.

This is a technical problem which some systems are working on. But in the
meantime, the only way I have found to maintain an active status is to
re-subscribe any time I fail to receieve the usual Parkinson's letters.
You'll find out within 24 to 36 hours.

Hope this is helpful.
