Welcome Sheila and Tom
You have company, quite a few Parkis and their partners put up with
disturbed nights. If it isn't the bathroom visit it is time to take
pills,
or the need to get into a more comfortable position, or the vivid dreams,
or that nap you had after dinner. If really unlucky RLS will have you
pacing the floor.

You mention the pallidotomy story which appeared in the WSJ and
NYTimes. The pallidotomy postings plus a ton of other 'good stuff' on
sleep etc etc can be found in the archives or logs.

If you take the time to scan the recent postings, going back from 15 May
you will see a message or two from John Cottingham about searching the
archives. John's instructions are excellent -- If I can follow them
successfully --anyone can!!!
bestwishes
