This is something interesting from the Holistic discussion list that I thought
would be worth passing along, as the author of the below message suggests.
Complementary Medicine, which is practiced by Dr. Atkins, and others mentioned
below, is a system developed to combine the best treatments from conventional
and alternative therapies into a integrated whole, and I personally feel that
this combination of both perspectives offers the best hope for many
diseases, including pd. Here goes:

Dear Fellow Internauts,

Please forgive the cross posting but there seems to be enough interest and
this is very important. Many of you will find the following difficult to
believe but please check the references given or check my DOS e - text on AOL
(health 31) or the SIMTEL site mentioned previously (heal31) for more
details. I hope to have version 32 with more ways to eradicate cancer
uploaded shortly but have not been able to upload it myself. (I will mail it
on floppy also, with an installation letter, for $5 to help on costs, to
those who will post it elsewhere)

I have indicated previously on several of the above addressed lists that the
18 diseases and groups of diseases related to arteriosclerosis can be
eradicated. One of us can repost the list if needed or it is in my e - text.
This alone is about 84% of the disease in America (Amer Heart Association)
In addition, I am certain that Robert Willner, M.D., Ph.D., Robert Atkins,
M.D., and others as mentioned in the attached letter to Washington, are right
in saying that there are numerous ways to eradicate cancer. This means that
more than 95% of disease can be eradicated if we can put in enough grass
roots work to overcome the suppression of this information by the multi -
billion dollar Allopathic Industrial Complex or AIC as it is being called by
some.

Please repost this information anywhere you can and add as many signatures to
the letter as possible. I will accept names and addresses to be added to
copies I am sending.

Thank You!

Dennis Fink

Dear President and Mrs. Clinton:

We share your concerns for the health of Americans all across our wonderful
nation. We want to know what we can do to help increase the funding for the
less expensive alternative treatments and cures that the following health
professionals say work better than many conventional treatments:
o Robert C. Atkins, M.D., author of "6 Alternative Treatments Your Doctor
Won't Tell You About"; Dr. Atkins in this 18 page booklet says, "It is not
necessary to find a cure for cancer; dozens of them have already been found.
What we must cure is the system which keeps these cures from us." o
Robert E. Willner, M.D., Ph.D., author or "The Cancer Solution," says (p.
291) "There is no question that individuals who have chosen non -
conventional therapies first have gotten better results in the treatment of
cancer than those who opted for chemotherapy, radiation or mutilating
surgery. Unfortunately, most patients choose immune - destructive therapies
first." Dr. Willner seemed most impressed with the cancer cure of Dr. Johana
Budwig who uses linseed oil and cottage cheese as a throroughly
scientifically researched cure for cancer.
o Ralph W. Moss, Ph.D., author of "Cancer Therapy," and "The Cancer
Industry";
Dr. Willner and Dr. Moss use 1,000 scientific references to back up their
claims that alternative treatments are generally more effective, safer and
less costly than the typical chemotherapy, surgery and radiation that are so
typically used in mainstream medicine for cancer treatment. This applies to
treatments like chelation therapy and proper nutrition which together could
likely eliminate most disease in America, as many experts point out.
o Matthias Rath, M.D., author of "Eradicating Heart Disease," lists 18
diseases and groups of diseases that can be eradicated with optimal nutrition
and lifestyle. It is very likely that Dr. Rath is right and even the
American Heart Association says that arteriosclerosis in one form or another,
is causing 84% of the disease deaths in America.
o Russell Blaylock, M.D., author of "Excitotoxins," provided more solid
evidence that compounds like monosodium glutamate, aspartame, etc., are
causing brain damage in Americans yet the general public has still not heard
anything significant about this danger.
o Hulda Clark, Ph.D., N.D., author of "The Cure For All Cancers," and
"The Cure For HIV And AIDS," provides good evidence that a parasite causes
all cancer and AIDS, although her techniques will be scoffed by many in
mainstream medicine, but we respectfully request that her claims be honestly
investigated by an unbiased group.

Billions of dollars, millions of lives, and millions of disabilities can be
saved if this information is put to use now. Two or ten years from now is
not good enough. These sources and many others detail how effective cures
and treatments have been ignored and suppressed for years and years. We do
not have all of the specifics on some of the FDA raids on doctors using
alternative treatments for disease but the evidence appears overwhelming that
many alternative treatments and cures are being ignored and even suppressed
just because they use natural substances that are not patentable or recommend
alternative treatments instead of higher profit drugs or surgery. This has
to be investigated and stopped!

If the NIH is not familiar with the details of the work of authors cited in
the previous paragraph, something is gravely wrong with our system. The
original preparer of this letter has no connections with these authors or any
publishers, just an interest in slowing the disease epidemics that are
killing many more innocent people and children than the tragedy in Oklahoma.
We are doing what we can to direct media attention to this issue but our
efforts get squashed very easily by an industry like the cancer industry
which is the second largest in the world. We are certain that these
experts are right, and that action to speed progress in this area is critical
to the overall health of our nation.

Neenyah Ostrom in "America's Biggest Cover - Up," lists good evidence that
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) has many similarities to AIDS and could be a
variation of AIDS. The possibility that all three of these diseases could be
partly caused by a parasite, needs to be honestly and openly investigated, by
a team whose profits are not at stake if this proves to be true. I am adding
more details to my electronic text daily and I will gladly provide a location
for anyone wanting to download it. CFS is causing precipitous drops in IQ in
many of our children and it appears to be spread very easily (by saliva
according to some experts) as would be the case with Dr. Clark's theory of
how the fluke parasite spreads.

The time has come for the suppression of Alternative Medicine to stop (see
"Racketeering in Medicine - The Suppression of Alternatives," by James P.
Carter, M.D.; "The CanCell Controversy - Why is a Possible Cure for Cancer
being Suppressed?," by Louise B. Trull; "The Cancer Microbe," by Alan
Cantwell, M.D.; "Alternative Medicine," by the Burton Goldberg Group; "A
Cancer Therapy," by Max Gerson, M.D.; "Disease - Mongers - How Doctors Drug
Companies and Insurers are Making You Feel Sick," by Lynn Payer; "Optimizing
Health, Intelligence & Longevity," by Dennis E. Fink, version 3.2, an
electronic text (heal32); the texts listed in the first paragraph, and many
other sources). Just because someone outside the mainstream establishment
makes a major discovery, does not mean it can be swept aside as 'quackery'.
We demand honest and open evaluation of all alternative treatments and more
widespread use of these generally less costly techniques. Effective cures
should not be repressed because they are not patentable or do not fit the
'establishment ideal', (surgery or writing a prescription) or because it
decreases profits of the cancer industry. These treatments must be put into
more widespread use immediately.

We realize that some small efforts are being made along these lines, but the
amount of progress is unacceptable. It is hoped that the availability of the
authors 700 page electronic text (free to downloaders, no trees used,
infinite copies, etc.) detailing this information, will help in the education
effort to improve nutrition and prevention of disease in America, but even
this effort is being sabotaged since some do not want the public educated.
With no advertising funds, the information will take forever to make it to a
significant percentage of the population.

A few M.D.'s and government agencies still seem to be saying that
supplemental vitamins and minerals are not necessary for most people and this
appears to the signatories of this letter to be another bias that is
decreasing the health of America. The research of the last several years
indicates to us that many Americans would experience less disease and
disability with more calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, etc. in their diets. The
bias in America against supplemental nutrients that Dr. Linus Pauling fought
for most of his life, has not disappeared, but it is helping to keep the
profits rolling in for some in the "medical industry". There is a journal
devoted to nutritional treatments published in Canada titled the Journal of
Orthomolecular Medicine. Try to find this journal in any of the libraries in
the United States or in any of the medical databases. I found it much easier
to subscribe directly from the publishers at 16 Florence Avenue, Toronto,
Ontario, Canada M2N 1E9.

Thank you very much for your excellent Earth Day address and for your
administrations dedication to improving the health and welfare of millions of
Americans.

Respectfully yours,

We made a gallon of the tea from a premix herb pack, and are down to the
last 1/4.
