The Case Of The Frozen Addicts is the book by William Langston, M.D. It is a wonderful book. Easy to read, etc. Langston starts by chronicling (sic) the original heroin addicts who by injecting themselves with heroin replicated the symptons of Parkinson's. It's a very compelling read and follows how Langston searched for the connection to Parkinson's right up through and about the progress of pallidotomies. In my opinion it's a 'must read' for all 'parkies' and loved ones alike. If anyone else has read it, please offer your comments here. LCarper [log in to unmask]
