Those who attended the Leeds Congress last year and then went on to the York Early Music Festival will remember Rachel Semlyen's weekend package based on the York Plays performance and other York delights. This is just to say that Rachel has organised a day around the production of the York Cycle in York, with the following (very brief!)timetable: 2 p.m. performance of the York Moses and Pharaoh at King's Manor 2.45 Presentation on last year's production by Jane Oakshott (Director), myself (Musical Director) and Karen Hodder (University of York, and responsible for the production of the video record of the performance) 4.15 tea 4.45 panel discussion on the practicalities of mystery play production: Pam King, Peter Meredith, John McKinnel, Meg Twycross.
