Some of your mother's symptoms sound like Shy-Drager syndrome (SDS).
In order to get a better understanding of her condition it would be
important to correlate her symptoms of slurred speech, dizziness,
pressure in the chest and neck with her blood pressure. Her blood
pressure should be checked both when she is sitting and when she is
standing up. Again I am not saying that she has SDS but that more
information is needed.
