The Society for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy had moved around for several years, depending on wherever the Executive Director was. In the Spring 95 newsletter, "PSP Advocate" there is an article on their new, hopefully permanent address. Again, that address is: Society for Progressive Supranucelar Palsy Johns Hopkins Hospital 5065 Outpatient Center 601 N Caroline St Baltimore MD 21287 There is a toll-free number--1-800-457-4777, which will soon be transferred to the new office. Beth Ness is the executive director. On a sideline, I generally tell people my Mom has a form of Parkinson's & don't generally try to explain the difference between Parkinson's and PSP. It's not accurate but it helps people get a general idea. I also want to express my wonder and amazement at how many people will stop to help me when my mom has fallen--or is teetering on the brink! It is truly wonderful and helps me deal with her illness to know people are there to help. Kathy Sowa ([log in to unmask])
