Dear Jim,
The comparison in symptomology between you and my husband is
beginning to get spooky!! Not only has he (and his brother and sister)
have poor sense of smell and taste, but all three also have
hypertension. Jamie's disease began when he started taking
anti-hypertensive medication. We found a direct relationship between
those medications and his Parkinson's symptoms.
I should post on this newsgroup about that relationship, but I've
posted it everywhere else on the "medical net" and I'm posted out for the
time being.
I wonder if you two are distantly related? At first when you
suggested (playfully) that there might be some shared genes, we
laughed. However, you do share alot of the same medical problems.
Coincidence?? Hmmmmmm.
