Those with a Ku Band satellite system, in the US, Canada and Mexico
should be able to view the program. The sites will be set up with a
telephone for on-site questions to the remote hosts. They may have an
800 number accessable for others in "unauthorized" locations.

The Arizonia site has been advising callers on their voice mail of the
conference for months. Other ADPA locations have ignored this
opportunity for support groups to get up to the minute information.
Major hospitals have KU band capabilities and use it for seminars.
They would love to have the free publicity of hosting such an event.

It is incomprehensible that some state ADPA groups are not interested
in promoting a valuable program such as this. These "turf wars" are
symptomatic of the chaos in trying to get all the horses lined up
in support of the Udall bill. There is evidently not enough glory to
go around.

Support groups interested in participating in the satellite conference
could approach their local hospital and see if they have the facilities
to host a group. Another method is to meet in the home of someone who
has a KU capable satellite system or the showroom of the local
satillite dealer.

With or without the "Support" of your local ADPA, view the conference.
Time of of the essence, you need time to set things up and alert your
groups.
