Carrie, As a diagnosed Young onset parkinsonian, I am currently 42 years old and was diagnosed with PD at age 38. I would have to say from what I have read if you are under age 55 and diagnosed then it is Young Onset due to the fact that it was usually found in those that were over the age of 55. That is my opinion anyway. Having YPD can make you feel old sometimes also. Dar
