Re: cost of medications--last February there was a post about this--from our resourecul John Cottingham--telling how to get meds for lower cost.He said many meds are available through "Indigent Patient Programs" of the various pharmaceutical companies. In March, Jerry Finch added info:a list of companies who do this--Allergan, Burroughs-Wellcome, Glaxo,Inc, Marrion Merrell Dow, Miles, Parke-Davis, Sanofi Winthrop, Amgen,Inc., DuPont Merck, Hoffman-La Roche, Merck, Norwich-Eaton, Smithkilne Beecham, and Upjohn. Thisa must be duscussed and arranged with the doctor, and you have to be really indigent, so may not affect your father, but he should talk to the doctor about the problem. Hope this is helpful. Does he know about generic Sinemet CR being available now which should be cheaper? Camilla Flintermann, Oxford,OH
