Dear James,
 
John Wasson's postprandial observations were as follows: (1) Wasson did
not do Appendix II or King's Lynn--Richard Proudfoot did; (2) "The entry
does suggest that wwith no 'Episcopi' before 'domini de Welles' it could
be 'Lord Welles' instead of the Bishop of Wells, but as Barbara Palmer
notes, (3) we have _no_ indication from Yorkshire that Lionel de Welles
had any entertainers who might have strayed down to King's Lynn, Norfolk."
