Re--speech problems (volume). I'm not aware of amplification devices, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. A woman in our group who really lost her voice took to a small, handheld electronic notebook type of device where she could type messages, even pre=program common responses. She had some speech therapy but the effect was not long-kasting. If amplification isn't available, maybe the "notebook" would help?
