My father has PD. He is of Norweigian descent, but he did not grow up on a farm. He has been a heavy drinker (gin) his whole adult life. He is 74. He also has diabetes. He is a WWII vet. I love my dad who has been a strong and proud man his whole life and now my mother has to help him button his shirt. Mentally he is as sharp as ever but the Parkinson's has slowed him down. I listen to him and I tell him I can only imagine how frustrating his life must be. Maybe one day soon they will have a cure for this disease, anything hopefull on the horizon?? Frank's Son Michael
