Hi, I've been a "lurker" on the list for quite some time. My mom, 82, has Parkinson's and we've both learned a lot from this list. At her last eye check-up, he opthalmologist recommended having the cataract on her left eye removed. She also has glaucoma. My question is this: Are there any "special risks" for Parkinson patients having this type of surgery? What facts should be specifically told to the eye surgeon before hand? All responses will be appreciated. Thank you. Catherine
