> Paul would like to know of current drug combinations for maximum > effectiveness at the early stages of Parkinson's: I am taken 30 mg of Parnate (MAO A AND B inhibitor) plus 3000 mg Vit C and 3000 iu Vit E daily. I do not find it necessary yet to treat my symptoms with dopamine or dopamine enhancer or anticholonergic medications. I have not been convinced that my drug regimen is effective, but I can't see any better alternative that is as benign otherwise. I am watching the work on transdermal delivery of elderpryl as well as trials on free-radical scavengers. My early onset status (currently age 42; diagnosed c 2 years previoiusly) makes me very eager to delay dopamine drugs as long as possible, as well, of course, to find a "stopper." Best regards, David
