Bueno, comrades con el baile merengue! le gusta los recipies!!! Here's
another to add to the list. It was a favorite with a Huey helicopter pilot
friend of mine who always said if you wanted to fly helicopter you had to
think helicopter, act helicopter, be helicopter, sleep helicopter (his
bedsheets e always were a twisted mess)... Enjoy: :

Fava Sunrise
++++++++++++++++:
3 qts of tequila
2 -3 fava beans, chopped beyond recognition
1 pt of brake fluid
Triple Sec
a couple anchovies or alewives, local market conditions will determine
availability and price

put in blender, rip it up good, strain the resulting NavGas thru cheesecloth
and throw everything out but the remaining liquid. Light and toss down with
the flame still flickering. This will heal you permanently, do not expect
small inch-marks towards success. Next thing your remember you will be
walking thru an airport in a large city you have never visited before. You
will have assumed a new identity and a new engaging set of friends.
Christmases will be bleak the first couple years as the memories fade but by
then your old identity will be but a fever blister on a neuro synaptic
connection. We are/am become new person, code name Fava, interrupt message
switch alpha-d, MacTab readout NoSPACE like FreshSPACE abort shuffledisc
caryatid pedestal root anchor pointers have all been destroyed READOUT not
NOT or or NOR soup KNORR fava bean soup which are delicious who art in
frijole himmel. Amen..

In a more serious light (huh?!?) - thanks, John Cottingham and Karin M.
Beros, et al for all your research and experimentation. Have you ever
thought of sending some of this stuff to the Frugal Gourmet (Jeff Smith)?. I
would think he might be interested given his own background and our current
interest in "healing" foods. And Anne Rutherford d' Newfoundland ... I
agree,... why is there no dopamine in strawberries? Uff da natural law!

regards,
Don Anderson (aka Sand Rodent, more than a platypus, less than a morally
comprehensible primate but ... still your friend and first cousin, a mammal)
