our listserver.
The 3 principal commercial suppliers of on-line services, which include
e-mail, InterNet access, etc. can be reached by dialing (to reach their

Prodigy: (800)776-3449
CompuServe: (800)858-0411
Upon request, each of these groups will gladly send you a "start-up kit"
consisting of software (diskette), phone numbers, and instructions for
setting up and using your computer to access their services. Each can
provide non-toll, local access phone numbers for major metropolitan areas.
AOL has initiated an "800" access phone number which is usable from any US
location, but which is not free (8 cents per minute).
