Dear friends, Since a thread on incontinence has returned to this list, here's just a point of interest. My wife, Aviva, who had her bilateral pallidotomy last March 1, under the knife of Dr. Iacono at Loma Linda U.M.S., experienced severe incontinence for about a year before the procedure. Needless to say, it was a source of constant worry and occasional embarrassment. Following her bilateral, the problem appears to have all but disappeared. While this blessing seems to have been overshadowed by the other more spectacular benefits of pallidotomy that Aviva has been blessed with, it would seem that this blessing alone would have justified the operation.
