Thursday, July 27, 1995 Dr. Roger Duvoisin, MD, accepted the post of Chairman
of the American Parkinson Disease Association Medical Advisory Board. This
is an important position, particularly since it is this board which allocates
medical research money provided through the APDA.
Dr. Duvoisin is also Professor and Chairman of the Neurology Department of
Robert Wood Johnson Medical School [University of Medicine Dentistry of New
Jersey -- formerly Rutgers] in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
"Dr. D." is a well known and respected researcher, scholar, teacher, and
clinician. He is also the author of the well known(to us) PARKINSON'S
DISEASE, A PATIENT AND FAMILY GUIDE (now in its 3rd edition with #4 just
around the corner).
We in the Parkinsonian community look forward to his leadership.

Will Johnston, Pres. Delmarva Chapter A.P.D.A., Salisbury, Md.
