An article in yesterday's "Parade" magazine section in the Sunday newspaper had an article about the VIN stim surgery that Don had done in France last year. It is being done here in the U.S., at Univ. of Kansas Medical Center. The article notes the surgery for essential tremor, but it worked for Don's PD tremor. Also, the article calls the surgery "experimental"--which I guess it is here, but it's been standard operating procedure in France for nearly a decade. Joanne Sandstrom [log in to unmask]
