Joyce, thank you for your input on Sinemet startup...My mother is now taking the medicine before the meal and has no nauseas problems.She is also taking half a tablet of lodosyn to counter nausea...but maybe we will try to stop this in a week or two, as it may be unnecessary. I wish the doctor had given her more information...but as he did not, I've been able to get a wealth of good info from this group. Thanks. Mike
