I tried 3 mg capsules of melatonin, too. They do seem to help me sleep better, but I haven't determined whether I feel more rested the next day. (I've been trying them for a week.) (I don't have PD- I watch this list for anything of interest to a family member who has the disease, but doesn't have access to E-mail.) I got the Newsweek article today (thanks to this group for mentioning it- I don't have a Newsweek subscription). It's fascinating! -Bill
