Today I received a letter from Ross N. Rubin, JD of the AMA. I would like
to quote the last paragraph
"Regarding formal AMA support for any particular piece of pending
Congressional legislation, our procedure involves review and analysis by
the AMA's Council on Legislation, with a subquent recommendation made to
the AMA's Board of Trustees. I will arrange to have the Parkinson's

Research, Ed and Assist Act placed on the agenda of the Council on Legis-
lation at one of its meetings in the near future, and I will communicate
the Council's recommendation on the bill to you thereafter.

I now ask all of you out there on the internet, regardless of country, but
as Parkinsonians to write Ross Rubin, JD to encourage the AMA to support
this Act.
