I'm in the process of trying to arrange an appointment with our Rep. John Boehner for several members of our group to discuss the Udall bill. This would be a follow-up to correspondence, but he hasn't made a committment yet. One man who is going has the "ability" to become pretty dyskinetic--maybe that wouldn't hurt :-(/:-)<ambivalence> We will probably go the week of the 21st-- if anyone (PAN included) wants to share ideas for the best way to get thru to him, and for a "handout" to leave with him, that wouyld be great. HIS LETTER INDICATED SYMPATHY FOR FUNDING OF RESEARCH,AS WELL AS CONCERN RE: BUDGET LIMITS, SO INFO RE: COST-BENEFIT FIGURES WOULD BE HELPFUL. Thanks for anything you can suggest. Too bad he's a Republican, as few of them have i signed on, but he's also in a leadership role, and if he agrees, it might carry some weight. Wish us luck! Ca,milla Flintermann
