'jack', in his note, clearly expects such response to his advertising and is prepared to ignore it. In fact he has a contingency plan if his provider does kick him off: get on another provider until he's kicked off of there. In the mean time mail- bombing 'jack's' current provider could disable the ISP's server(s) and can be construed as a 'denial of service' attack on the ISP's other clients. Retaliation against people such as 'jack' is not in anyone's best interest and is a catch-up game at best. People like 'jack' are rather like cockroaches: you can stomp on them all you want (and it may make you feel better doing it) but you'll never get rid of them. I recommend that we ignore 'jack' and get on with the business at hand. --- __ _ _ Colin Wu / ) // ' ) / Network Analyst / __|/ o ____ / / / . .
