I've noticed several posts lately regarding edema in one lower extremity or the other. I too have developed this symptom in my left ankle and foot. My PD symptoms are on the right. My internist opines it is varicose vains. I am scheduled to see a vascular surgeon next week. In the mean time I purchased some Jobst stockings and this seems to have alleviated the acute problem altogether. I'll keep the net advised post the vascular exam. In my case it may not be related to PD. Here's hoping! Jim [log in to unmask]
