My name is Viv Peto, and I am a researcher in Oxford, UK, working on PD and quality of life. I have been reading the list for a few weeks now and have learnt a great deal. Unfortunately I am leaving the list, for a bit anyway (I've posted a 'set parkinsn nomail' message, hopefully to the right address) as my mail box is getting too full, and I'm not getting my worki done as I spend my morning reading the messages! I am hoping to get funds to evaluate quality of life and the effects of pallidotomy, so have been particularly keen on messages about that. But I think what I have enjoyed the most is the poetry that's been pouring out. I think it's fantastic, and somebody should try and get them published.
