I have notice that there seems to be confusion over breaking sinemet cr. As a pharmacist and son of a PDer I can share with you the following: 1) Sinemet without the CR may be broken in half or crushed. 2) Sinemet CR 25/100 should be taken whole (not broken or crushed) 3) Sinemet CR 50/200 May be taken whole or broken in half (but not crushed).
