Sheila, Heard from Nancy Kassebaum yesterday. As expected, she says she won't support the Udall bill because of concerns about overhead costs, but she says she does support PD research funding through the NIH budget. She sent me a copy of the Senate Appropriations Committee report accompanying the 1995 funding bill, which specifically speaks to the need for a coordinated research program. She concludes by saying she hopes more money will be devoted to research instead of overhead costs. Pat
