Hi Micheal I echo the comment that there are no such things as "dumb questions" but add that there are "dumb answers". Keep asking on the list and you'll get great advice and good answers. My favorite reference is on the world wide web. Parkinson's Web is run out of Harvard U. The address of the home page is http://neuro-chief-e.mgh.harvard.edu/parkinsonsweb/Main/PDmain.html This document covers such topics as a primer for PD, signs&symptoms, medical treatment ( both chemical and surgical), a very nice glossary of important terms and much more. The style , while I'm almost sure is medically accurate, is most readable by laymen like us.
