Dear Ms. Newman, I was first diagnosed with PD at the age of 32, 11 years ago. Several weeks ago, I had a succesful right pallidotomy at the Toronto Hospital. All the doctors emphasized that their best results were with young-onset patients, and held out great hope for me, which has turned out, at least till now, to have been amply justified.
